A mound of thoughts

Poem

The Burden of Blame

Once we met, but never again shall I meet you,

In your city, dwell the open-hearted few.

I bear the blame for all that’s accused,

Ready for debate, the open-hearted crew.

I search for news, a path to pursue,

Yet shadows linger, the open-hearted few.

Slaves to desires, their cravings ensue,

Where can true character be found, ask you?
